My Photo Story about my Life because of the pandemic. https://spark.adobe.com/page/iXn7FZ68DAOcI/
I feel strongly against pollution because it affects everyone, but not everyone puts effort into ending it. This is an ever-growing problem, and masks that aren’t disposed properly are adding to it. But because of the pandemic, most people are unaware of this new type of pollution and I hope that once people are aware, they will begin to take action. I think that not only my parents but many people my age have influenced me to feel strongly about the environment. Unfortunately, the flip side of being against pollution might be that people say they don’t have time, or it might not be their responsibility to take care of the environment. Honestly, I do not agree with the other point of view because we all live on this Earth so we should all take care of it as much as we can. My artwork is not really meant to offend but to inform because not many people know about this new problem, and we should stop it before it becomes unfixable like the other types of pollution. I do believe my poster gets my point across because I used color contrast of yellow and a sort of blue green to catch people’s attention. There is a focal point which would be the turtle in the center but the yellow also stands out a lot, which is good because it is a crucial part of my poster.
Tintype Photography.
A Tintype photograph is a photograph that is made through a process called wet collodion or dry collodion in which the collodion is applied to a metal plate and then processed until it is ready for exposure. The photos end up looking very old and vintage with a sort of dark filter.
To create my tintype, I took a regular head and shoulders portrait and added a sort of blurry filter, then a dirty film filter, and adjusted the lighting as well as saturation.
